The Long History of North Dallas Honey

Our founder, Fred Richardson, started North Dallas Honey Company in 1972 by producing honey from his few hives to be sold on Tom Thumb shelves. For 22 years, Fred continued to focus on this business.  In 1996, Nathan Sheets called Fred to purchase a beehive to start making honey as a hobby, Nathan's hives grew quickly and by the end of the first year he had 4 hives; by the second year, 8 hives; and by the third year, we had 25 hives.
